Tiny Thief for iPad looks set to steal our hearts this summer

A few new screens for point-and-stealth puzzler Tiny Thief have been caught creeping their way around the web recently, and we're more than a little excited by what we've seen.

Set against a colourful medieval backdrop, the game involves guiding a diminutive blonde bandit around the screen, solving puzzles and swiping valuables as you go.

We imagine that this is what Robin Hood would have been doing with his spare time if he hadn't got hung up on all that 'giving to the poor' stuff.

Putting the interesting genre fusion to one side, the images we've seen (and the trailer below) suggest that Barcelona-based dev 5 Ants has a deft touch when it come to translating charm and humour into zeros and ones.

With a summer release date on the cards, we still have a while to wait before Tiny Thief steals onto the iPad. Here's hoping it delivers on its promise to rob us of our spare time.
