Tiny Space Adventure is a pretty interesting puzzle game masquerading as a simple point-and-tap adventure.

You play a cute little spaceman who finds himself trapped on a hostile planet. Each level takes up a single screen. You pop in at one point and need to make it to the signposted exit.

To do that, you have to pull switches, turn off lasers, push boulders, and avoid the attentions of death beam-spraying robotic sentinels.

To start off with here, life is pretty easy. For puzzle or point-and-click fans, mind, they stay pretty easy.

It's usually a case of wandering through the right doors in the right order, and making sure you don't accidentally fall to your death.

Still, there's a comforting bounce to proceedings that leaves you with a smile on your face. Plus, there are some aliens and rabbits to spot in a little meta game for completists.

Tiny Space Adventure is definitely aimed at younger gamers, but there's enough here to excite even the most determined cynics.

Tiny Space Adventure is out right now for iOS, and will set you back 69p / 99c. I reckon it's definitely worth that. There's even a free version available to get a taste of the game.
