Daedalic's 2009 hand-drawn adventure The Whispered World heads to iPad on November 25th

German point-and-click adventure game studio Daedalic has announced that it'll be bringing its 2009 PC game The Whispered World to iPad on November 25th.

This is a hand-drawn adventure with beautifully somber bucolic landscapes that follows peculiar protagonist Sadwick the clown.

Sadwick travels the world with his family and the circus, but instead of finding it fun, he's haunted by nightmares about the world ending.

Turns out that it'll be Sadwick that'll cause the world to shatter as he keeps foreseeing. So he sets out on an adventure to change that with his trusty pet caterpillar Spot.

It's a traditional type of point-and-click adventure so you can expect item-based puzzles and the like.

Obviously, this iPad version of The Whispered World will have touch controls but should retain everything about the original game.

Daedalic started bringing its adventure games to iPad only earlier this year. The first was Deponia and this makes the second.

The Whispered World will cost £7.99 / $9.99 when it hits the App Store later this month.
