Multiplayer narrative game based on Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead coming to mobile next year

With New York Comic Con in full swing, we've been expecting a few news-y bits to come out of it. Today Disruptor Beam announced a new story-driven multiplayer game based on Rob Kirkman's The Walking Dead comics, The Walking Dead: March to War.

It's that time of year again when the next season of The Walking Dead is creeping up and the third season of Telltale's epic survival game is just around the corner so we didn't expect anything less. March to War is a multiplayer strategy game in which you fight alongside (and against) other players in order to control resources, rebuild a broken society in Washington D.C., and fend off walkers while you're at it.

As leader you'll assemble a team of colourful characters, including some of our old favourites, to defend your camp against walkers and other survivors. You'll be faced with moral decisions throughout the game and as it's inspired by the stark look of the comics the graphics will apparently be rather striking.

The Walking Dead: March to War will be free-to-play with IAPs, due for release in 2017 on Android and iOS. To stay up to date with the game, register on the official website as a survivor and get a Captive Walker in-game on launch.
