The Sleeping Prince is a F2P platformer that rewards you for flinging a prince around

The Sleeping Prince is one of those games that lets you live out a terrible fantasy.

No, not saving the world, but flinging a prince around with no consequence.

It's normal to be a little bit jealous of royalty, isn't it? It's like you're supposed to, what with them always flashing their lavishness on telly.

Anyway, The Sleeping Prince is a free to play platformer. You swipe to fling the prince across pits, through windows, and to hook him onto windmills.

You can also hold your finger on the screen to make him hover for precise movement.

You can do all of this as an evil guy has cast a sleeping spell on this kingdom of Cloudreach. Some wizard fella then put a magic ring on the prince that lets you control him so he can rectify the situation while asleep.

Apparently, this ring also prevents the prince from breaking any bones - you slam him around quite hard at times. Oddly, given all the ragdoll physics and slapstick humour, the game isn't as funny as I hoped it would be.

That aside, if you enjoy offbeat games and don't mind collecting gems to purchase power-ups (or paying for more gems), then you'll probably enjoy it.

You can download The Sleeping Prince for free on iOS right now.
