Simogo's next game, The Sailor's Dream, could be delayed due to the requirements needed to ship a quality-looking game on the bigger iPhone 6 resolutions.

Simon Flesser of Simogo (Year Walk, DEVICE 6) took to Twitter today to make his worries public.

"2 new resolutions that are nowhere near the old ones, and expectations of your games looking good on all devices, is killing my enthusiasm," Flesser tweeted.

This was his reaction to Apple's unveiling of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus yesterday. If you didn't catch it, the iPhone 6 has a 4.7 inch display, and a resolution of 1334 by 750, with 326 pixels per inch.

Then there's the iPhone 6 Plus, which has a 5.5 inch display, and a resolution of 1920 by 1080 with 401 pixels per inch. At that size, it's less a phone and more of a "phablet" (between a phone and a tablet).

With these bigger resolutions and display sizes, Flesser said he was also "super frustrated" that new owners of the iPhone 6 will play "blurry messes" of Simogo's previous games.

This could be fixed with an update, but Simogo won't be able to roll that out before the iPhone 6 is released on September 19th.

With all this in mind, Flesser sent out another tweet that is, presumably, concerned with the release of The Sailor's Dream. The game was originally slated for late 2014.

"We don't want to release in the holiday chaos, so today we are looking into if this means a possible delay to 2015 for us. Fun times," reads Flesser's tweet.

So, yep, this could mean that The Sailor's Dream may not come out until next year. We'll let you know if we hear of any confirmation of the game's release.
