The Reaper features a ballerina version of Death and shadow-based murder puzzles

There's nothing wrong with taking pleasure in your work.

That goes for all-dancing, all-murdering Death, too.

In The Reaper, you see, Death twirls, pirouettes, and glides across the tile-based board. Real dancers have been motion captured for this one, so it all looks really elegant.

Holding back your laughter at this rotund dancer (he'll kill you!), you have to keep Death out of the light by turning the Sun and moving objects to create shadows.

Once Death is in position, it's time to perform the deed. In one instance, you have to move a beaver under a tree. Said beaver gnaws at the bark, thus causing the trunk to topple and fell the nearby hunter.

In another instance, you'll have to melt a hole in an ice rink so that a skater falls into a freezing grave. Or maybe you'll have to annoy a ram so that it butts the guy sharpening his scythe.

Yes, The Reaper is chock-full of dark comedy. It's a sharp-looking puzzler, too.

We'll keep an eye out for more updates on this forthcoming iPad game. You can follow the progress of The Reaper yourself on its Facebook page, by the way.
