Some of you may be familiar with The Firm without even knowing it.

It's a game that focuses on traders working for big corporations. Your job is to decide whether to buy or not to buy stocks. Every decision you make affects the company's profits.
The Firm plays very slightly like Papers, Please in that you're tasked with shuffling through papers (though much faster). However, it's much simpler, as you only have to flick the papers to one side of the screen or the other.

The rules are that you only buy green stock when its rising, and only purchase red stock when it's declining.

If you don't stick to these rules, or you're not quick enough, you'll be fired before you can even get comfy at your new desk. When that happens, your trader jumps out of the building in a suicidal act.

Yep, while it's not as politically charged as Papers, Please, creator Sunnyside Games hopes that The Firm reveals some of the emotional stress that working for a corporation brings.

Still, if you keep a close eye on the the stock market and purchase accordingly, you can become the richest person in the world. That's worth it...right?

Hmm, maybe not. Anyway, at least The Firm is presented with some fantastic pixel art and animation. That makes it a little more cheery than it would otherwise be.

If The Firm seems like a game you'd be interested in playing, then you can purchase it right now for 69p / 99c on the App Store.
