David Frampton has revealed on his blog that version 1.2 of his Minecraft-esque build-'em-up The Blockheads is "pretty much done" and should be available to download within the next couple of weeks.

Explore one of your world's oceans after downloading this forthcoming update and you'll likely stumble across some fish or a ruddy great big shark.

You'll need lots of food and your best sword to overcome any sharks with whom you cross paths. Manage to defeat one, though, and you'll be rewarded with lots of meat and a "couple of other items".

Fish, on the other hand, are harmless. You'll be able to catch them using your bare hands or with a spear, though Frampton recommends that you craft a boat and a fishing rod before you head out onto the ocean.

According to Frampton, fish meat is a lot more delicate than the likes of dodo meat. So, you'll have to wrap it in tin foil (that you create at an upgraded press with tin ingots) before you cook it on your campfire.

Finally, you'll probably be pleased to read that your clothes will degrade "much, MUCH slower" in version 1.2 of The Blockheads.

This forthcoming update should fix all of the lag issues and performance problems that have been plaguing some players over the past few weeks, too.
