Temple Run 2 now features Santa as a playable character on iOS and Android

It's almost Christmas. You can tell because most of your favourite smartphone and tablet games are being updated with festive costumes and side-quests. And Temple Run 2 is no different.

Thanks to a new update, you can now use gems to purchase Santa as a character. You know, to make your sprints through the jungle that bit more, well, seasonal.

If that's too much, you can find Christmas artefacts and use them to unlock Santa hats for the other characters. What jolly festive fun you'll have.

There are also new water slide obstacles in this update (for some reason), new mysterious masks to add to your artefact collection, and a bunch of new objectives.
