Swords & Poker Adventures, Konami's free-to-play puzzle RPG reboot, is now out world-wide for iPad and iPhone

Konami's free-to-play reboot of the Swords & Poker franchise is now out world-wide, so if you want to hit a giant monkey in the face with a deck of cards you can.

The game is a twist on the match-stuff RPG that sees you creating poker hands to hit your opponent. There's a grid of nine cards, and you lay two to create a string of five. The better the hand, the more damage you do.

It doesn't look like Konami has made too many changes to the core mechanics of the game, but there is a new energy system, and all the trappings you'd expect from a free-to-play title.

Still, if you want to check it out for yourself, Swords & Poker Adventures is now available to download from the App Store for nothing.
