Updated 21st October, 10:29 AM: It's an exciting day for Plug in Digital as SwapTales: Leon! has finally launched on iOS.

Grab the game on the App Store here for £3.99/$4.99 and make some crazy stories.

If there's one thing severely lacking on the mobile app market at the moment, it's a good selection of child-friendly (and interactive) storybooks. SwapTales: Leon! by Witty Wings is a game we never knew we needed, and it's currently in beta.

Leon is a mischievous little so-and-so who sneaks out (with your help) and has a wild, night-time adventure. The target age group is six years-old and up, but having played the game before with another 20-something year-old colleague, I can tell you now it's actually quite challenging. You can't just pawn it off on your kids to sort out themselves, they'll need a little help...and secretly, you'll likely love it.

The factor that makes this game unique is its madlib design, letting you swap certain words in the sentence to alter the course of the story and change the pictures. With 30 endings, one 'true' ending, and hundreds of pages of hand-painted art there's plenty to work through in this unique gamebook.

SwapTales: Leon! is slated to release on October 20th and will be a premium title. Until then, if you've got an iPad feel free to check out their forum page or sign up to their closed beta.
