Another week, another Thursday, and another sea of new releases has washed in for us to check out. Sure, we're still recovering from E3 but there's no slowing down yet, friends.

This week we've got some neat titles you probably didn't know were releasing as well as some long-awaited titles that we can finally stop praying to the gaming gods for. They're finally here. We don't need to wait anymore.

Check out the list to see what you could be chewing on this weekend, and let us know what your favourite game of the lot is in those comments below.

1
Darkness Rises

It's a tough path ahead of you in this striking action RPG. Darkness spreads through the land as demons lurk, ready to strike. It's up to you to choose your hero and battle the dreadful beasts before they conquer you.

2
Dr. Meep

  • Platform: iOS/Android
  • Price: £2.99/$2.99
  • Review: 6/10

Paging, Dr. Meep. You've got a bunch of patients you need to sort out in this match-something puzzler, but don't worry if you're feeling overwhelmed - that's your patients' jobs. Sort through all the negativity and help people conquer their concerns.

3
Evoland 2

  • Platform: Android (also on iOS)
  • Price: £4.99/$4.99 (currently discounted)
  • Review: 7/10

Head through different eras of RPG on one big adventure and Evoland 2 opens up 20+ hours of fun. Relive your childhood (or experience what the fuss is about) and enjoy tons of classical games references while you're at it.

4
Golf Club: Wasteland

  • Platform: iOS
  • Price: £2.99/$2.99

Welp, it finally happened. The Earth died, the rich people moved to Mars, and now those who escaped take the occasional trip over to the blistered wasteland that was our home and play golf on the ruins of civilisation. This satirical golf game isn't quite what you'd expect.

5
Gorogoa

This one came as rather a surprise this week as the excellent Gorogoa went up for pre-registration on Google Play (and released) within a day. Featuring widely imaginative puzzles with excellent story telling and gorgeous hand-drawn visuals, I'd say you need to pick this one up at some point, puzzle-heads.

6
Paperbark

  • Platform: iOS
  • Price: £3.99/$3.99

Follow the story of an adorable wombat on a journey through the bush during a very hot Australian summer. Join him while he explores, forages, and bumbles across the land in search of a new home.

7
Peter Rabbit: Let's Go!

Parents and children alike, spend time in this charming adventure game with Peter Rabbit, Benjamin, and Lily in the fantastical and familiar world. Steal vegetables from Mr. McGregor's garden, go pinecone bowling, burst balloons, and more.

8
Startup Grave

  • Platform: iOS
  • Price: £1.99/$1.99
  • Review: 6/10

Play things a little differently in this Solitaire-style card game as Maya and her friends found a startup to find a gate to Earth. The monsters aren't happy, however, so you've got plenty of beasts to fight against and lots of opportunity to grow stronger than ever.

9
Suzy Cube

Yes, you've waited for it and now it's out. Defeat the Skulls and recover Castle Cubeton's lost treasure in this bright, colourful platformer. As the developer says, it's been a labour of love and we had fun playing it.

10
Westworld

Build your very own park to control in this building sim. Create and evolve AI hosts, meet the needs of human appetites, and prove yourself as an employee to gain access to the park in very special ways.
