A video uploaded to YouTube by Bossa Studios reveals that the studio is working on Surgeon Simulator for iPad, and it seems like the tablet version will have new features, too.

While short, the video titled "Surgeon Simulator - Shh, I Dentist Now..." showcases the player performing dental work on an unlucky patient.

So when the game does come to tablets you can expect to be grimacing while pulling teeth out of skulls, it would seem.

We spoke to Bossa's Tom Jackson last year, who said that Surgeon Simulator would come to tablets if the team could work out how to make the controls work.

This new video seems to confirm that the team have found a work around for the controls, then.

The controls are very important to what makes Surgeon Simulator work, of course. It's an odd game because the controls are just about manageable but clumsy.

Surgeon Simulator's appeal is one rooted in dark humour, you see. While you try to perform surgery, you fumble, dropping sharp blades inside your patient's open chest, and knocking objects flying off your workstation.

I'm grimacing at the thought of dropping drills into someone's throat. Or pulling the wrong tooth out.

If we get any more details regarding Surgeon Simulator coming to tablets, you'll be the first to know about it.
