Super Retro Bros. is a love letter to classic 2D platformers heading to iOS on July 23rd

Orca Inc. has a 2D platformer called Super Retro Bros. heading to iOS on July 23rd. It's inspired by the studio's love for Super Mario Bros., Wonder Boy, and Mega Man games.
"We love retro games," says Peter Huh from Orca. "So we decided to make a similar (not copy-cat) game for smartphone users."
As such, Super Retro Bros. has graphics meant to emulate the look of those older platformers. It's not all jumping, mind, as you also carry a gun with which to shoot the strange creatures.
Being retro-style, it's also meant to be pretty hard to beat, but only if you want it to be.
Getting through the levels shouldn't be too hard but there's an optional goal of collecting three stars as you do. These are often found in hidden areas or hanging in perilous places.
The game also has a number of unlockable characters that each have different abilities. The first one, for example, can move extra fast.
