Nintendo has announced the release date and price point for Super Mario Run

Well, it’s the info we’ve all been waiting for - Super Mario Run, the first iOS game featuring the world’s most iconic plumber, is set to hit iPhone and iPad on December 15th. Just in time for Christmas.

In a press release, Nintendo has also confirmed that the game will be free to download.

That will give you limited access to the three modes the game contains. A one off IAP of £7.99 / $9.99 will then give you unlimited access.

And the big N has released a new video showing the game in motion. You can check that out at the top of the article if you haven’t already.

So it looks like Mario’s first mobile game is going to be premium, which is pretty darn exciting.
