Super Ccatch is a twitchy twist on the Breakout genre that sees you controlling a paddle at the bottom of the screen.
That paddle is a specific colour. Blocks and other shapes cascade down from the top of the screen. You need to hit the ones that are the same colour as your paddle, and let the others past.
If you hit an incorrectly coloured shape then it's game over, unless you can hit another of that colour before your paddle disappears off the bottom of the screen.
Gameplay is fast and frantic to begin with, and it gets tougher as you move from level to level. The higher the level you get to the better your score, and the higher your multiplier.
There's a simple, retro look to the game. It wouldn't look out of place on a Spectrum demo tape, let's put it that way.
The game is out right now on the App Store and it'll set you back 69p / 99c to pick it up. That's an introductory price though, and it'll go up to £1.49 / $1.99 on July 8th.
It's definitely worth a look if you like your games to have a sharp arcade pace, an old school swagger, and lots of squares.
