Stratolith is an intriguing-looking strategy game for iPad due out at the end of the year

Have to wait a while

Product: Stratolith | Publisher: Winning Blimp | Genre: Simulation, Strategy
For: iPad

Winning Blimp has a history of taking genres and doing something fresh and new with them.

For example, it managed to make an interesting Breakout clone in Ambi-On. I mean, Breakout was never even that interesting in the first place.

Anyway. Winning Blimp's next game is called Stratolith, and it looks like an intriguing riff on the RTS template, all controlled via twisted knobs, frequency modulation, and a radar screen lifted from a submarine drama.

Aside from what we've picked up from the trailer above, we don't know much about this game. It certainly looks impressive, though.

Stratolith is slated for a winter release on iPad. As soon as we hear anything else about it, you'll be the first to know. No, honest, you will.
