Telehorse is bringing its 2D point-and-click adventure Steampunker to iPad on September 9th.

As you might have guessed, Steampunker is set in a steampunk world, and it's one that's being invaded by evil robots.

You help out "gentleman hero" Vincent as he attempts to save himself and the world.

To complete his mission, Vincent needs to fix a variety of machines and tesla-based mechanisms. So you'll want to get your engineer's hat on when tackling Steampunker's many puzzles.

We first heard of Steampunker when it was pitched to us during the Big Indie Pitch in Poland earlier this year. We liked it enough to give it a mention in our round-up article.

It certainly stuck out for its interesting if slightly disjointed visual style. We're also quite fond of traditional adventure games and that's what this game very much is.

Steampunker will be avaialble for iPad 2 and up on September 9th at a price of £2.49 / $3.99. It will be coming to Android tablets later in 2014.
