Star Wars Battlefront companion app has a Base Command mini-game, out now

Star Wars Battlefront's companion app is now available on iOS and Android.

It does as you'd expect: let you check on stats and progression in the main game, tel you about Star Wars news, and also when friends start playing Battlefront.

However, it does go one further with its own Base Command mini-game.

It's a card-based game in which you use Star Cards and Blasters to defend against increasingly tougher waves of Imperial forces.

The credits you earn in this mini-game can then be spent on more Star Cards and Blasters in the main Star Wars Battlefront game.

You can download the Star Wars Battlefront companion app for free on the App Store and Google Play right now.

Star Wars Battlefront is due out for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 17th in the US and November 19th in Europe.
