Spider: Bryce Manor HD has made it to the iPad, with a new set of features optimised for the device including high resolution graphics, a 'director's cut', landscape and portrait modes, and a brand new co-op multiplayer mode called Sidekicks.

Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor came out on iPhone last year and earned plaudits for its cleverly unfolding backdrop, touch-friendly control scheme, and revoltingly authentic creepy-crawlies.

The game casts you as the eponymous spider, and you have to get from one end of the equally eponymous Bryce Manor to the other killing greenfly, wasps, moths, and other forms of insect life. We gave it a Silver Award.

Spider: Bryce Manor HD is out now in New Zealand for $6.49, which means it'll probably cost $4.99 in the US and £2.99 in the UK when it arrives later today.
