Space Grunts, the action roguelike from OrangePixel Games, is set to land on mobile in February 2016. We don't have a more precise date, but February is pretty darn short anyway.

The game mixes OrangePixel's gorgeous retro visuals with a slightly more sedate pace than the dev's usual offerings. It's turn-based, and sees you planning your moves rather than rushing in all guns blazing.

That's not to say there aren't plenty of blazing guns, and mines, and grenades, but you need to think carefully about your moves to avoid the attentions of enemies, and dodge through environmental traps.

We went hands-on with an early PC build of the game in August, and we liked what we saw. You can read the preview by clicking this lovely link here.

We will, of course, let you know when we get a more concrete release date, but in the meantime colour us pretty darn excited about this one.
