How difficult do you like your auto-running platformers?

If you answered 'super-difficult', then the interesting-looking Sound Ride is going to be right up your masochistic alley.

The game is a super-sharp runner in which you sprint through a brightly coloured world, dodging obstacles and grabbing coins.

Via the nodes scattered throughout the angular landscape, the twinkling electronic music is altered. New layers of sound are therefore added to your run.

By the way: Sound Ride is super-hard.

Platforms twist underneath you if you land on them incorrectly. Spiky spurs shoot out of seemingly innocuous lumps of ground to force you into a double-jump. And deadly edges spell a rewind to the start line if you catch them wrongly.

There's a randomly generated Daily Ride mode here, too, so, yep, you can expect a fresh challenge every day. Furthermore, there are 20 tough levels in Adventure mode that contain multiple paths to the finish line.

Sound Ride is out right now for iPhone and iPad, and it won't cost you a thing to pick it up and give it a go.
