Nintendo no-doubt paved the way for other companies when they announced Super Mario Run a couple of months ago. Now with the game's release on the horizon Sony's joining in the fray with as many as six mobile games potentially releasing next year.

Sony revealed yesterday that collectively they would actually be working on ten mobile titles, including the ever-popular PaRappa the Rapper and Hot Shots Golf.

So far the games are set to release in Japan, and eventually in other Asian countries will follow. Whether the games will come to the west next year remains to be seen, but I reckon the chances are good.

So far the six titles announced are PaRappa the Rapper, Hot Shots Golf, What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord?, Arc the Lad, Wild Arms, and Sora to Umi. NIS will apparently be releasing games based on Yomawari: Night Alone (the recently released survival horror/puzzler) and Disgaea.

The information is still very thin on the ground so we'll have to wait a little while to know more. What games do you hope to see on mobile now Sony's on board? Let us know in the comments below.
