It's certainly not the first time I've talked about Snailboy: Rise of Hermitron, but today I bring good news as it's officially launching worldwide.

I know, it's been a long time coming. Snailboy: Rise of Hermitron follows Snailboy as he traverses dangerous levels, defies the evil hermit crab, Hermitron, and seeks to restore the Guardian Shell Statue to return the peace.

Aside from the beautiful visuals of the game, the mixture of exploration and action means you'll be collecting treasure alongside battling bad guys. Thanks to the assortment of power-ups and special abilities, there's another level to be experienced past the average platformer. Whether it succeeds or not is a different story.

Grab Snailboy: Rise of Hermitron on the App Store now. The first five levels are free, with the remaining 20 unlockable via IAP for £3.99/$3.99.
