Greedy Bankers dev bringing futuristic footy-esque sports title Slamjet Stadium to iPad soon
Best to use protection
Greedy Bankers developer Alistair Aitcheson is working on a new physics-based iPad title in which you're pitted against opponents in a futuristic footy-esque sport known as Slamjet.
Unlike real football, Slamjet (which is played on powerful hoverbikes) has very few rules. There are definitely no red cards for misconduct.
In fact, you can use every cheap and dirty tactic in the book to overpower your opponents, and employ dastardly traps and helpful power-ups to win matches.
Slamjet Stadium features a single-player mode that pits you against seven varied teams, but you can also compete against your friends and family in local multiplayer bouts on a single iPad.
If you're feeling particularly naughty, you can even reach across the screen and steal your opponents' players from right under their noses.
We don't currently have a release date for Slamjet Stadium, but we know that its launch isn't too far off.
Aitcheson revealed in a recent blog post that his latest project is "very close to completion", and will be released onto the App Store as soon it has been tweaked and playtested a tad more.
We'll strap on our knee pads and let you know as soon as it surfaces.
