Autumn Games partners with LINE to bring Skullgirls into soft-launch sometime this spring
Keep your chins up, it's coming
Back when I was just a tot at Pocket Gamer last July, you may remember a game called Skullgirls, due to hit mobile in late 2016. Needless to say it didn't happens but we're still going to be getting it sometime this year.
Skullgirls was originally a fighting game born on console in 2012. However, the mobile port is so far intending to bring more to the table than just a pocket-sized duplicate. With tactical, turn-based RPG elements and deck-building mechanics, Hidden Variable is hoping for a totally rounded experience.
I know, the Skullgirls delay is a bummer, but apparently the soft launch should be happening sometime this spring. A definite date hasn't been set just yet, and we still don't know when the game's expected to rear its head worldwide. Hopefully it won't be too much longer.
