Skater was originally released just over two weeks ago on iOS. Then it got pulled due to some nasty bugs. But it's back now forever, hopefully.

This is one of those super detailed skateboarding games that can be quite hard to pick up. You need to tap and swipe the right parts of the skateboard to perform tricks.

Just doing an kickflip can be hard. You start out by tapping the back end of the skateboard to do an ollie, and then swipe across the skateboard to spin it.

But, get this: if your swipe isn't fast enough you won't be able to land back on the board properly. I fall over a lot while playing this game.

It's quite a bit like Touchgrind Skate, then, except it has added skater shoes on top of the skateboard.

Skater also has real skate parts recreated inside its digital mainframe. Plus, it lets you record your own trick runs and share them with others, if you like showing off.

You can purchase Skater for £2.99 / $4.99 on the App Store right now.
Well, as long as no more game-breaking bugs are found, causing it to be pulled again, that is.
