The civilization-building turn-based strategy game Sid Meier's Civilization VI has just arrived on iPad

So, we didn't get Cuphead in our last working week of 2017, but we DID get Sid Meier's Civilization VI which I think we can more than live with.

Named as 2016's Strategy Game of the Year at the Game Awards, Civ VI lets you become the ruler of your own digi-empire as you expand it across the map, improve its culture, and take on some of history's greatest leaders to build up a civilisation that time cannot destroy.

Lead your people from the Stone Age through to the age of technology, wage war, be a little diplomatic when the occasion calls for it, and enjoy the newer features on offer. By investing time and energy into technology and culture you'll unlock new potential, compete against historical leaders' own agendas, and shoot for one of five ways to dominate the game.
