Available now on the App Store and Google Play, Rogue Hearts looks to offer a unique spin by having player manipulation influence battle directly, unlike automatic combat RPGs found elsewhere.
The game infuses dark fantasy lore with light rogue-like elements, keeping the action fresh as you guide your party through rooms to engage in satisfying boss fights.
Rather than having you crazily mash the screen with your finger, Rogue Hearts’ combat is noticeably more tactical. Battles take place on a grid and are turn-based, allowing for a more thoughtful approach to tackling enemies.
Post-game content incudes ‘nightmare’ versions of story boss battles amongst other twists, so completionists will get there fill long after Rogue Hearts’ credits roll.
