Saccharine arcade shooter Robots Love Ice Cream will blast onto iOS on April 9th

According to Dragon Army's iOS arcade shooter Robots Love Ice Cream, invaders from space can't get enough of frozen sugary treats.

Dragon Army tells us Robots Love Ice Cream will be surfacing on the App Store on April 9th. So, now's a good time to get familiar with it.

The titular machines aren't of the cute and friendly variety. They're trying to steal humanity's stocks of ice cream, which is spread across multiple planets across the galaxy.

This leads to you taking your ice cream truck to these planets to fight the robots back with weaponised ice cream. You shoot lollies and single scoops at the robots until they explode with joy.

Take a look at the video below to see Robots Loves Ice Cream in action.

Alongside shooting frozen food at the robots, you have to complete mini-objectives. For example, you'll have to use certain destructive combinations of ice creams to defeat the robots.

You'll also get the chance to upgrade your ice cream with Sprinkletonium so you can more effectively battle the robot armies.

Robots Love Ice Cream will be on sale for 69p / 99c during its launch week. After that, it will be available at its full price of £1.99 / $2.99.
