Via a press release, SEGA has just announced its latest foray into the world of mobile gaming, and it's called Revolve8: Episodic Duelling.

The game is said to be a real-time strategy title, and it's headed our way via producer Masayoshi Kikuchi, best known for his work on the Yakuza series. Interestingly, famed Castlevania producer Koji Igarashi is credited as Revolve8's character designer.

In terms of gameplay, players will be challenged to wield a deck of 8 cards, each with their own unique properties. Using these cards, you'll have to destroy your opponent's towers within a strict 3 minute time limit.

It all sounds pretty straightforward but, after you factor in all of the various Hero skills, it eventually becomes clear that battles will indeed demand quick thinking and strategic planning.

We don't have a release date as of yet, but we'll be sure to let you know as soon as we do. You can expect to see this one on both iOS and Android, so everyone can have a crack at some of that fancy episodic duelling.
