[Update] Bullet-hell MMO Realm of the Mad God has miraculously jumped from PC to iOS

It's not F2P, either (Updated: It's a fake. It's a scam)

[Update] Bullet-hell MMO Realm of the Mad God has miraculously jumped from PC to iOS
Updated on June 20th, at 14:25: Unfortunately, we've since discovered that this is a scam.

It isn't a port of Realm of the Mad God. It really was too good to be true.

Do not purchase this ported version of Realm of the Mad God, then, unless you enjoy wasting money. We're sorry to get your hopes up.

Original story follows...

Realm of the Mad God appeared on the App Store today without a single word of a warning.

If you didn't know, it's a 3-year-old bullet-hell MMO (it's as ridiculous as that sounds) that has proven very popular on PC. I'm surprised it hasn't been ported to mobile before, actually.

That's far from the strangest thing about this port, mind. That 'honour' goes to its premium pricing. You see, Realm of the Mad God is a free-to-play game on PC.

Usually, we see premium PC and console games ported to mobile and turned into free-to-play experiences. This time, though, it's the other way around. Hey, I'm not complaining.

Realm of the Mad God can be quite a riot to play. There are several classes from which to choose, lots of enemies to fight, and a load more bullets flying around to dodge.

If you can find some friends that will play along with you, then you're almost guaranteed a hell of a time.

You can purchase Realm of the Mad God from the App Store at its current sale price of £1.99 / $2.99. It'll be going up to £2.99 / $4.99 soon, so grab it while it's cheap.
