| Raceline CC

Bri Bri Wheels is making a name for himself in the underground racing-motorbikes-in-a-straight-line-down-busy-streets scene.

He's tenacious, he's cocky, sometimes he forgets what the controls do and drives into the back of a truck at full speed.

Bri Bri is, of course, me. He's my alter ego in Raceline CC, which is an auto-racer with some slipstreaming twists. And it's quite good.

Tell 'em Bri Bri

The game is all about speed. You start each race by tapping a button to keep your revs in the green. Then you burst forward, and tapping left and right on the screen swerves you off to the next lane.

You're aiming to get in the slipstream of the traffic ahead of you, tapping out at the perfect time to shoot past before you slam into a boot.

You earn money and likes as you go, which up your driver level and let you buy new bits to make your shiny street machine go that little bit faster.

There are a bunch of challenges available at any given time, but they all follow exactly the same pattern. There might be different bunches of cars and trucks to dodge through, but it's all about getting your timing right.

On the harder levels it only takes one slightly late dodge to ensure that your opponent disappears into the distance.

There's a free to play energy system, but you get enough of the premium currency to begin with that when it's time to refill your tank you won't mind spending a couple of coins to keep racing.

I love you Bri Bri Wheels

Bri Bri might not be the smartest cookie in the world, and I'm pretty sure if anyone tried to explain corners to him he'd fall on the floor and start weeping.

But it's still pretty fun to hang out with him. Raceline CC has a neat compulsion loop that makes you want to get that next engine bit or some new wheels.

It looks great too, and if you're looking for a CSR-style racer with a little more interactivity that features shiny motorbikes instead of shiny cars, then this is well worth a look.

Raceline CC - The trials and tribulations of Bri Bri Wheels

Raceline CC might not be a racer in the traditional sense, but as a quick-blast mobile title it's pretty entertaining
