Signal has taken the wraps off its RP One wireless controller for iOS devices at CES 2014.

With its RP One controller, Signal aims to deliver the same experience as the maker of a console-quality controller. In fact, if you look at the image of the RP One below, you should notice the resemblance to the standard Xbox controller immediately.

Not only is the bulky shape of the RP One near identical to the classic Xbox controller, but the dual sticks, digital pad, face buttons, and triggers are almost all in the exact same places.

Yep, there are even 'A', 'B', 'X', and 'Y' labels on the face buttons, too. The only difference is the left stick and digital pad have 'switched' places.

Signal will ship the RP One with a universal charging dock that will fit iPads, iPhones, and iPod touchs.

You'll be able to use both your iOS device and the RP One controller as they charge, by the way. In essence, then, you can use it like a mini games console.

While not being charged, the RP One controller can reportedly last ten hours.

Expect the RP One controller to be available to purchase for $99 in the first half of 2014.
