Developer Eric Kinkead has posted a teaser trailer for Questlord, his upcoming retro RPG due out later this summer.

The pixel art roleplaying game captures the spirit of the early Might & Magic games and will likely appeal to gamers edging into their third, fourth, and fifth decades of life.

Yet younger gamers would do well to keep an eye on Questlord as well since it looks to deliver a perfectly pocket-sized rpg experience.

Epic quest, small package

Despite – or perhaps because of – its simple graphics, Questlord’s look is clean and polished. While half of the screen is taken up by the user interface, the end result is a game that looks positively at home on the iPhone screen.

Other details on Questlord are sparse, but we will keep you updated with product developments and a release date when they are available.
