Stunning rhythm-action game Pulse: Volume One for iPad on sale for £1.49/$1.99 until August 12th, 60% off regular price
In tune
Philadelphia-based indie developer Cipher Prime is celebrating the fact that its absorbing rhythm-action game Pulse: Volume One has spent the last 12 weeks in the top 10 iPad music game charts in the best way imaginable.
That's right: it's having a sale.
In what should be music to your ears, you can snap Pulse: Volume One up for the promotional price of £1.49 / $1.99 until August 12th, meaning savings of a hefty 60 per cent.
Hard To BeatOn review, Pocket Gamer's Will Wilson found Pulse: Volume One, "stunning to look at and play, but viciously tough to beat”, before affixing a PG Silver Award to its record bag.
Pulse: Volume One tasks budding iPad music makers with tapping on shapes as they blossom out - instead of the more orthodox Guitar Hero-style cascading notes - from the centre of the screen.
A well-timed tap or three rewards the player with an explosion of colours and shapes, which erupt in time with the fantastic in-game melodies.
Pulse: Volume One is available on the App Store at its reduced price point of £1.49 / $1.99 until August 12th.
