The terrific tree-snipping puzzler Prune has shifted 100,000 copies in its first month which, for one-man developer Joel McDonald, has been "overwhelming".

McDonald shared his sales stats because he wanted to "encourage other indies to not discount mobile. I think there's a lot of players who are starving for high quality experiences."

We'd certainly call Prune high quality. Peter gave it 10/10, and dubbed it "an awe-inspiring work of digital poetry" that explores its themes "in an articulate and powerfully moving manner".

Previously, we said that Prune could come to Android, depending on iOS sales. Now that "hmm, maybe" has turned into a "oh alright, why not then" as McDonald is in development on the Android edition.
