Prepare to live your life as an adorable wombat now that Paperbark is coming to iOS

Fans of Gorogoa, Florence, and the like, you've got to keep an eye out for this new iOS game. Paperbark by Paper House is headed to iPhone and iPad and, boy, it looks great.

In it you'll play as a sleepy wombat bumbling across the Australian bush in a single, hot summer. As a love letter to the area, you'll discover all sorts of native wildlife and flora as you go.

Though I'm not all too sure on the story just yet, it's got a watercolour art style I already adore. Apparently it won't have a huge amount of literacy, which is great for keeping things accessible to the masses, and draws inspiration from Australian art and children's literature.

You can pre-order the game right now on the App Store for £3.99/$3.99. If the wombat dies, though, I'll cry for a week.
