| Paper Train: Rush

Is there space in the world for another train-based endless runner? Paper Train: Rush hopes that there is, and it makes a decent fist of cramming everything you'd expect from the genre into a neat package.

But it never goes above or beyond the shape we've all become familiar with. It's solid, it looks good, and everything it tries to do it does with aplomb. But it doesn't really try to do all that much.

You swipe left and right to leap between train tracks, and up to jump over obstacles. There are coins and power-ups to collect, and a variety of different tracks, trains, and characters that you can buy with the cash you earn.

And it's all fine. It bounces along at a neat pace, and there's a decent compulsion loop that'll drag you back in. But in the end it's just another perfectly playable endless runner, and you'll likely find yourself looking for something else.

There's a solid endless runner here, but it doesn't offer anything you haven't seen before
