If you like your strategy with a focus on realistic simulation, you may be interested in the new collaboration between Slitherine and BAE Systems.

Slitherine is known for its in-depth strategy games, such as Panzer Corps and the more recent Warhammer 40K: Armageddon.

BAE Systems isn't known for its game output, but is instead one of the world's largest defence contractors, specialising in aerospace.

The partnership will initially take focus on the PC-only Command: Modern Air/Naval Operations, which accurately simulates war scenarios with maps and graphs.

But Slitherine is hoping for a "long-term collaboration", so we could see BAE's combat expertise influencing future Slitherine strategies on the iPad.
