One Finger Death Punch will bring its ridiculous, fast-paced martial arts to mobile soon

One of my favourite games of last year was One Finger Death Punch. I'm rather chuffed to find out that it's heading to mobile real soon, then.

Yep, we're a little late to this news, actually. Developer Silver Dollar Games announced the mobile port two months ago on its Facebook page.

"One Finger Death Punch is coming to mobile thanks to the talented team at Tangent. The game will first be released in Korea and then other territories will follow," reads the developer's message.

Hopefully, that means it should be here before the end of the years. Here's to hoping. Oh, and below is the gameplay video that Silver Dollar released with the announcement.

One Finger Death Punch is as over-the-top and ridiculous as that title makes it sound. It's like being the star in a kung fu movie, performing amazing fighting moves every second.

The best bit is that you play the game with just two buttons. This is what makes it idea for the touchscreen.

You stand in the centre of the screen, and enemies will charge at you from both sides. You have to press the left and right buttons at the right time, and the correct number of times, in order to take them all out.

If you get it perfect, you perform a ballet of punches, kicks, weapon throws, slices, explosions, and aerial somersaults. It feels fantastic.

But if you think that sounds easy, don't be fooled, as there is plenty of challenge in One Finger Death Punch. Different game modes place restrictions on your movements, take away lives, and overwhelm you.

It's a hell of a good time, and it should work superbly on the touchscreen. Check out the game's website for more information.
