Nova Voyager could bring an Elite-style space sim experience to mobile

Elite: Dangerous might not be coming to your tablet any time soon, but Nova Voyager will be bringing a sprawling 1:1 universe and planetary landings to mobile devices next year.

In development since 2011, Nova Voyager is a space sim set in a realistically-sized universe of planets, moons, stations, and starports.

Not only will you be able to fly across the galaxy, you'll also be able to land on planets, all seamlessly with no loading screens.

Like the best space sims, Nova Voyager will let you choose your path, letting you play as a pirate, merchant or mercenary.

Nova Voyager is expected to release on iOS devices sometime in 2016, with PC/Mac and Android versions also planned. You can learn more about the game here.
