Munin is a mythological puzzle platformer that has you moving mountains, available on iPad right now
The mountains are calling
Daedalic Entertainment has announced that Portugese developer Gojira has released its 2D puzzle platformer called Munin for iPad.
It's based on Norse mythology and has you flipping parts of the screen upside down to collect your lost feathers.
Tapping parts of the screen that you're not stood in causes the environment to spin, turning ceilings into floors. Yep, you'll need to replace ravines and spikes with bridges and ladders.
It can be complicated at times and it may have you turning your head to make sense of the spaces you invert. But the puzzles aren't anything we've not seen before.
Still, it's a competent puzzle platformer nonetheless. It should satisfy any fans of the genre.
If the promise of tricky puzzles doesn't do it for you then the influence of Norse mythology and the consequentially dark world might.
You play as Munin, the messenger raven of Odin, after she's been turned into a mortal human by Loki. You need to head across Yggdrasil to reclaim your power. That's why you need those feathers, you see.
Your journey takes you across 77 levels ranging from quaint villages to eerie caverns and ghostly mountaintops.
You can purchase Munin for iPad for £1.99 / $2.99 right now. The Android version isn't available yet.
