Monster Legacy gets even more like F2P Pokemon with its new PvP championships
Pokemon(ey)
Monster Legacy provides us with a scary glimpse into what a free to play Pokémon game would look like. However, it is missing a vital component.
There is no way to have PvP battles - outrageous.
However, Outplay Entertainment has updated the Bronze Award-winning monster collecting game so you can beat other players up now.
In fact, there are whole championships for you to compete in. Victories earn you fame points that'll push you nearer the top of the global leaderboards.
There's more to win than glory, too. Those who get to the top earn themselves some in-game currency to spend for free.
What more excuse do you need to chuck a vicious furry creature at someone else's face? Get going already.
If you missed it, our review said: "It's what you'd expect from a free-to-play Pokémon clone, but Monster Legacy pushes enough of the right buttons to still be entertaining".
You can download it for free on the App Store right now.
Psst, if free to play games aren't your thing, then check out Micromon - yet another Pokémon-like game.
