If you like point and click adventures then the name Jane Jensen probably means an awful lot to you.

She's the designer behind the critically acclaimed Gabriel Knight series, as well as a slew of other adventure and hidden object games.

Now she heads developer Pinkerton Road, which has just released some new information, and a new trailer, for Moebius, Jensen's crowd-funded metaphysical thriller.

Combine money with talent

Set in a world of mystery and conspiracy, the game tells the story of Malachi Rector, an antiquities expert with a ridiculous name who can look at any object and know its history.

It turns out that's a skill the US government is interested in, and they hire Rector to investigate the murder of a politician's wife.

Cue plenty of puzzle and problem solving as you and Rector find yourselves trapped in a web of intrigue and conspiracy.

There's no release date yet for the game, but we do know Moebius will be coming out on iPad when it finally sees the light of day.

To keep your lust for mystery sated until then, have a gander at the trailer we've embedded below, or head back to the top of the page and browse through a gallery of brand new screenshots.
