Mojang is preparing to roll out a beta for the next Minecraft Pocket Edition update, and here's what you'll need and where you'll need to go if you want access.

In order to play the beta you'll need a Google+ account, an Android device that can run Pocket Edition, and the full version of the game purchased from Google Play.

If you've got all that, bookmark this page and wait for the link to become active. Mojang's Tommaso Checchi said it'll be out "pretty soon".

Minecraft boss Jens Bergensten has confirmed that the above link is legit, by the way.

Minecraft 0.11 will include boats, skins, road blocks and more. And this is definitely not the last Pocket Edition update you'll see - Bergensten says "we are now working towards having the same game on all platforms".
