One of the best adventure titles of 2016 – Mimpi Dreams – has just received a massive new update which alters the original monetization model and adds a brand new episode.

For those not in the know, Mimpi Dreams is a relaxing adventure title about a very lazy dog who becomes the "Superdog" whenever he dreams.

In terms of gameplay, you can expect a mix of point and click style exploration and some light puzzling for good measure. The original release saw much critical and commercial success, with over 2.5 million players around the world.

Lucky for you, we reviewed the game back in 2016, praising it at the time for its sharp controls and appealing visuals. This new premium episode – A Dream of Mars – looks set to improve upon the established formula by offering a completely new story, new puzzles, new costumes, and even some hidden areas for players to seek out.

It's also said to be larger than the entirety of the original five episodes put together, so you'll surely be getting plenty of bang for your buck.

Better yet, you can grab the first five episodes for free on iOS. Gotta be quick though, as that deal ends in "a few days" according to the devs. Android players can enjoy the chapters for free forever, though you will need to pay for the new episode.

In order to access this new episode, all you'll have to do is finish the original five, then pay for this one via the in-game menu – easy peasy.

So, now's the time to head on over to the App Store or Google Play to give those first five episodes a try. And who knows, maybe you'll be won over enough to pick up this impressive looking new one.
