I have no idea what Onion Games's Million Onion Hotel is. But it looks utterly, deliciously bonkers.
It's the brainchild of Yoshiro Kimura, responsible for No More Heroes and Little King's Story. Other members of Onion Games can boast about Super Mario RPG, Lollipop Chainsaw, and Harvest Moon on their résumés.
In a post on the Onion Games website, Kimura states that Million Onion Hotel is "very tiny work". Kimura says: "Because this is my poem this is my imagination 100%." Even the announcement is endearing.
Million Onion Hotel will go live on iOS at some point in the future, and will be playable at the BitSummit in Kyoto at the start of next month.
As soon as we know anything solid about the game, we will, of course, let you know what on earth it's about.
