We're not beating around the bush when we say that Lords of Waterdeep is one of the best board games on mobile. And right now the D&D tabletop adaptation is on sale for a couple of quid less than usual.

If you're not familiar with the game, while it's set in the Dungeons & Dragons universe, it's not a tale of derring do underneath the ground. Instead it's all about subterfuge and city management above it.

Now that might sound a little on the dull side, but bear with us, because it's actually one of the best strategy board games around.

Lords of chaos

At review, for example, we called it "a superb re-creation of a popular and unusual Dungeons & Dragons boardgame, with excellent usability, tough AI opponents and little multimedia tweaks that really add to the experience."

It got a Gold Award as well. Those don't exactly grow on trees, you know. If you want to read the full review, then click here. Trust us, even if you're not into this sort of game, then you're going to find something to love.

And right now you can grab the game for £7.99 / $7.99. It might not sound like a steal, but you're getting so much game for your money it's hard to complain.

If that sounds like it might be right up your alley, then click here to be taken off to the App Store where you can pick up the game and get playing.
